Best Fashion Moment of 2024

Cannes Film Festival does it again in creating a most memorable fashion moment for me. The winner for 2024 is Joey King! We definitely see a glow-up moment here, from awkward girl who resembles iconic Alexis Bledel of Gilmore Girls in the Kissing Booth series on Netflix, to getting happily married in 2023, and now bombshell on the red carpet!

Joey King is looking her best ever in these outfits and they are perfect time-capsule styles that clearly shouts out "this is 2024!"

First off, we have this sheer blue number, adding on to the see-through, lingerie-esque trend that continues to be strong amongst celebrities in 2024. Compared to the other see-through gowns that makes you cringe and want to cover your children's eyes from, this gown covers just the right spots and makes you want to compliment Joey that she has an amazing body fit for a leading lady role in the movies!

Loving the earrings that matches the dress!

Also her outfit and hair reminds me of Lana Del Ray's comeback at Coachella 2024, which was definitely an iconic rock-star moment for 2024.

Now Joey's second look at Cannes was my absolute favorite! The sleek bob hair! The pastel colored dress! The little bow in the back! The sheer gloves (as is all the rage in Bridgerton season 3 out in 2024)! The column silhouette (perfect for petites, btw)!

Ahh, this is perfection! So many great fashion moments in 2024, but the Easter-egg pastel dresses were definitely the most memorable!

Diamond of the Ball 2024

It is that time of the year again for the Bal des Debutantes in Paris. I am making a new Bridgerton-style tradition to pick the "diamond" of the ball.

I was hoping to say Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter, Apple Martin, because she is the most recognizable and highly publicized for the event, but I felt her dress looked outdated and needed more boob support.

The winner for me goes to Lucia Ponti, granddaughter of Sophia Loren, and daughter to Italian movie director Edoardo Ponti and actress Sasha Alexander.

The Giorgio Armani dress with the contrast stripes stood out of the crowd! Yet the neutral cream and grey color is...eh hem..."very demure, very cutesy, very mindful" befitting for her youthful age and elegance of the event.

Also looked comfortable to dance in!
I love how the grey stripe panel helps the intricate bead/embroidery design pop out.
