Goodness, the more I look into wedding dresses, the more I am becoming indecisive. I remember when my aunts married in the early 90's, shoulder-pads, poofy sleeves and over-the-top lace appliques were the rage. If there is one memorable style for the late 2010's-recent, I would point to the "cape" dress. It all started with
Solange Knowles and now
Serena Williams. Not to leave out other memorable cape evening wear:
Lupita Nyong'o red
Ralph Lauren dress and
Charlotte Casiraghi's blue
Giambattista Valli gown!
I am not sure if cape-dresses are a good idea for petite women, but 5'2"-ish
Emilia Clarke sure rocks the capes in the popular
Game of Thrones.
