Good question! I agree with the other ladies, but I think if the bag is small, you can also wear it higher, and if it is a slouchier and more cas bag, you can wear it lower. I'm totally not an expert here, just what I'm thinking!
I struggle with this too because it's so hard to find the perfect bag with the right length. I prefer at the hip but feel you can "cheat" and get away with above or below hip depending on what you wear.
Thank you ladies for your thoughts!!! I tried to do a google image search too, and it seems like at hip or near hip area is the way to go...and it makes sense since it is the most convenient length to reach into the bag while fumbling for money and stuff ;)
Also agreeing with Lisa and Cee on bag size and length options based on outfits...oh the possibilities to try! :)
