Beach Pajama Trend for 2023

I'm a huge fan of resort wear and I have been re-inspired ever since I watched the Netflix movie Glass Onion in the wintertime. I had thought the black and white dress from Andi was going to be a hit this summer, but I was partially wrong. The trend that actually kicked off was detective Benoit Blanc's stripe coordinating shirt and shorts ensemble. 

I'm not sure what you call this outfit really, but they look like pajamas, so "beach pj's" or matching Hawaiian shirt and shorts set (or even Cuban collar camp shirts...) 

Whatever it's called, I love the concept of it being a beach-coverup. The looseness, the fun prints, the variety of ways to wear it, and somehow this menswear style can still look super cute on a female...I'm in!

Blue Stripes with Bold Print

I love the classic blue and white stripe button up shirt! It's so versatile and eye-catching! I love how Ralph Lauren styled this one....I'm totally going to copy this with a bold print high-waisted wide-leg pants....

Stroopwafels and Cap Sleeve Sweater Vest

It's been awhile since I have posted any sweet treats on here. I'm a sucker for cute packaging, so when I saw this interesting cookie box on sale at Costco, I had to try it. Turns out, this stroopwafel is delicious, especially when placed over a hot cup of tea to get the caramel gooey...oh I love oozing caramels (hence title of my blog, haha). 

How cute are the illustrations of these houses and the blue and white Delftware motifs?

Makes me want to visit the Netherlands someday! 

Another thing I'm loving right now are these cap-sleeve sweater vests that can be worn alone as a top and then over a button-up as a vest. Love versatile clothing items!

The Best Summer Inspirations from Forever 21

This styling at Forever 21 is just perfection!

Love the blue and white strips and dolman cut of the shirt, but I do not recommend buying these items from Forever 21 though since the description says made with 100% rayon. My advice is to avoid 100% rayon fabric because it will most likely be wrinkly and will become dingy or shrink horribly after one cycle of machine-washing. But I just adore the timeless look with the white shorts and summery accessories. I applaud the stylists at Forever 21 for putting together such great looks lately!  

For chillier summer days, this outfit is another favorite look....slouchy sweater, high-waisted wide-leg pants, and interesting stripe sandals...and those seashells earrings! Love!
